Coventry Emergency Squad Inc., alternatively known as Coventry EMS, operates as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, delivering both Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) medical services to the town of Coventry. Our organization functions without any paid staff. Additionally, we extend ambulance services to neighboring townships/villages such as Afton, Bainbridge, Greene, and Oxford in Chenango County, as well as Harpursville and Nineveh in Broome County.
It’s important to note that we do not receive any taxpayer support. Our primary sources of income come from billing patients’ insurance companies and contributions from the community.

Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Coventry Emergency Squad, Inc. to provide the best possible care and to protect Life and Property to the people that live, visit and travel through the Town of Coventry served by the Coventry Emergency Squad, Inc.
We will provide treatment, or other services to the best of our ability. The care and treatment will be provided to all members of the community, citizens, or patients without prejudice to race, color, creed, religion, or sexual orientation.
We are constantly striving for improvements in the care delivered, the quality of membership, the quality of training and education provided to our members, patients and members of the community.
